Dion's "Green Shift" will shift votes...
...To the conservatives! This is becoming increasingly evident in the Maritimes, with a fossil fuel-based energy system and Nova Scotia Premier Rodney MacDonald against it, Dion could experience hosility towards his plan in the Maritimes, similar to what he experienced in the west. It is entirely possible that the Liberals could see a significant drop in their once strong support in the Maritimes. I wonder if Elizabeth May considered this when she decided to run against Peter Mackay in rural Nova Scotia?

Liberal support is about to plummet like a stone once an election campaign gets underway. I am sure the Conservatives have had economists dissecting this green shaft madness in detail. I am also sure they have the costs broken down provincially, and once these figures are presented to the electorate you will see a stampede away from the tax and spend gang that will be amazing to behold.
Goodale is in trouble in Saskatchewan, Brison is heading for deserved oblivion in Nova Scotia, and the folks in B.C. (except for the Vancouver limousine Liberals) are ready to openly revolt.

-A few red seats will remain mostly in the biggest cities with Toronto leading the pack.
-Many Conservative seats will be gained because of the lefties who many will revolt and split the votes between the Greens/NDP/Liberals.
-Quebec will surprize big time with the Bloc also loosing major ground.
Things will only get worse for the liberals if we have a cold fall/Early winter which WILL HAPPEN: WE ARE PRESENTLY EXPERIENCING 'SOLAR MINIMUM' WHICH IS THE RESULT OF THE SUN'S FLARES (SPOTS) ACTIVITY AT ZERO. AS A RESULT THE OCEANS HAVE BEEN COOLING FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS SO THE JET STREAMS (WINDS) ARE BRINGING IN COLDER AIR. ALSO AT SOLAR MINIMUM, CLOUD FORMATION INCREASES COVERING THE SUN MORE HOURS PER DAY.
GET READY FOR LONG, COLD AND SNOW GALORE WINTERS. THIS COLDER AND RAINIER SUMMER WE ARE EXPERIENCING IS IN TUNE WITH ALL THIS.

Danny Williams has painted himself into a corner with his tantrums against Harper.
He's publicly thrown his panties at Dion, now how does he back out of that?
I smell a side deal, but that will get everyone else ranting about one as well.
If Danny doesn't come out against this, it likely means that Danny and Dion have an under the table deal.
